After working as an advertising executive at Ogilvy Guatemala, and at Siglo XXI Newspaper, Alexia moved to Chicago in 2007 to study Yoga. For the last 15 years she has taught corporate, group and private classes as well as local and international retreats. She has guided students in building healthier, stronger, and more flexible lifestyles, both physically and mentally. Her teaching methods include the practice of physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation. Alexia holds Yoga Alliance YACEP and ERYT-500 certifications, and is a "Fast Like a Girl" certified coach. She co-directs the Ashtanga program at Yogaview Chicago, and leads her own teacher training program. She’s the lead teacher trainer and an Advisory Board member at Salt & Light Coalition. Her main focus is instilling the discipline required to break unhealthy mental and physical patterns, enabling her students to adopt healthier habits and lead more productive and fulfilling lives.

A certified health coach, strength coach and nutrition counselor, he is thoroughly versed in the most current and effective approaches to wellness and has successfully helped a wide variety of clients, from corporate executives to professional athletes, from people suffering auto-immune disorders to others who simply wished to improve their lives.
